Dr. Mohamed El-Esawi is an Associate Professor of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Botany Department of Faculty of Science at Tanta University in Egypt. He has received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Tanta University in Egypt, and his PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Dublin Institute of Technology, Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) in Ireland. Afterwards, Dr. El-Esawi joined the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom as a Visiting Research Fellow. Then, he joined the University of Sorbonne (Pierre and Marie Curie-UPMC) in France as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Following those positions, Dr. El-Esawi joined the Division of Crop Biotechnics of KU Leuven in Belgium as a Research Fellow. Then, he joined the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom as a Visiting Research Fellow. Dr. El-Esawi is very interested in Genetics, Genomics, Transcriptomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics, Molecular Plant Physiology, Developmental Biology, Plant-Microbe Interaction, Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics. He has given numerous talks and participated at more than 55 conferences, meetings, and workshops in highly regarded institutions nationally and internationally. He has received several awards and grants from international organizations including DAFF, ASRT, IRO, COST.

Henryk Kalisz obtained his PhD in Biochemistry at Manchester University and has published over 60 papers in reputed scientific journals. He has over 30 years of experience in industrial enzymology and biotechnology, including as Head of Biochemistry at Pharmacia Italy (Nerviano) and as Chief Scientific Officer at Eucodis Bioscience in Vienna, Austria. Since October 2011 he has been applying his expertise in industrial enzymology as a consultant and independent representative to provide scientific and technological advice and assistance to various Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals organizations.

Kitherian Sahayaraj, Ph.D., D.Sc., is an Professor (Associate) and Head at the Department of Zoology, St. Xavier’s College of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and a Director in the Crop Protection Research Centre in the same institution since the June 1998. Sahayaraj Kitherian received his undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral educations at the Madurai Kamaraj University, India. Over the past 31 years, Dr. Sahayaraj’s research efforts have been dedicated to multidisciplinary, integrated approaches to understanding how reduviids distribute and diversify in various ecosystems, and how their adaptive characters can be applied to pest management, especially through biointensive pest management. Dr. Sahayaraj has over 210 scientific papers published. He is an internationally recognized expert in many areas of advanced entomology including insect chemical ecology, artificial diet formulation, biopesticide formulation, biointensitve integrated pest management, bionanomaterial, and insect molecular biology. He is a regularly sought after and requested lecturer at the majority of science colleges at Tamil Nadu, India. Dr. Sahayaraj organized four international conferences (BIOCICON) and seven more national conferences. Dr. Sahayaraj is the Editor–in-Chief of the Journal of Biopesticides and also Editor for more than 10 reputed peer-reviewed journals. He has guided and supervised 19 Ph.D. scholars and supervising four researchers. He has been regularly transferring the laboratory finding to the neighborhood farmers and offering guidance to them on BIPM.
